Gallery News
We have been busy behind the scenes at Mary Place during lockdown. First, we’re delighted to announce Dallas Moore is joining Campbell Robertson-Swann and the team as General Manager of Defiance Gallery. Dallas comes to Defiance with over two decades experience in arts events and gallery management.
She has served as National Exhibitions Coordinator for Sculpture by the Sea and during that time worked with the Olympic Arts Festival producing large outdoor sculpture exhibitions around Australia. Dallas worked as Gallery Manager of Gould Galleries focusing predominantly on Australian modernism, and then spent many years as Gallery Manager at Arthouse Gallery before her work in private consultancy.
Dallas looks forward to meeting you in the gallery when you next visit and hearing from you with any phone or email enquiries you have about the gallery’s artworks and exhibitions.
Defiance Gallery is also very excited to announce new representation of two highly accomplished artists, Kyle Murrell and Peter Stevens. Both artists strongly compliment our representation of leading contemporary Australian art.
Peter Stevens, Mount Zero Falling Water 2, 2020, oil on board, 66 x 61 cm
Kyle Murrell, Undertaking, 2021, oil on panel, 44 x 61 cm
